I am a mom and wife, but I am also just me- Loy.   Someone who loves to write, read, cook and sit on my screen porch (or anyone’s screen porch).  I work at a hospice by day and moonlight at as a blogger by night.  I’ve spent most of my young and adult life in the small southern town I grew up in Georgia surrounded by family and folks I’ve known forever.  My favorite time of the day is first thing in the morning when no one else in the house is up but me and the dog.  It is when I do my best thinking, and coffee drinking.  Over the past two years I have also started to fancy myself as a gardener/farmer.  My life is one big unorganized adventure with the LOML, the Three Darlings and our Boykin Spaniel Darcy.  I wouldn’t have it any other way.
